HSM3 beats Angelina jolie at weekend box office

High School Musical 3: Senior Year is still head of class at the box office.

With $15 million, it maintained the No. 1 spot for the second weekend in a row. (It has raked in $61.8 million in its 10 days at theaters.)

No. 2: Seth Rogen's raunchy new comedy Zack and Miri Make a Porno, which earned $10.7 million.

Nabbing $10.1 million, Saw V was No. 3, followed byAngelina Jolie's kidnapping drama, Changeling, which took in $9.4 million in its first week of wide release.

The Haunting of Molly Hartley debuted at No. 5 with $6 million.

"The target audience was out collecting candy or trick-or-treating Friday, but Saturday came back like a monster," Mark Zoradi, president of Disney's motion-picture group, told The Associated Press.

Steve Bunnell, head of distribution for Weinstein (which released Zack and Miri Make a Porno), said the movie's title may have hurt its performance at the box office.

Said Bunnell: "We were surprised that we ended up with the controversy. We thought everybody in America would understand that it was a joke."
